This quarter will be more intensive than previous quarters. Each day during the first 60 days, you will be given an assignment--60 ways in 60 days to change your life in little ways and see big results. Please keep a 60 day calendar. Note: I will post 7 days of questions and/or action steps each week on Wednesday morning. Our calls will usually be on Wednesday at noon PST. Please keep a journal! And plan to record your results for all to see/read. Why? Accountability is the only way to sustain change.
Our 60 Day Boot Camp begins after the holiday--on July 7. Get your journal and calendar picked out!
Are you ready?

I am SO ready! As you know, this last spring was a very difficult time for me; I was way too overextended, and every area of my life suffered. I have never had a busier school year or a heavier teaching load; add to that my commitments as a Weight Watchers leader and church pianist and my assignments as a college student and the end result is a life of stress and imbalance. I sacrificed sleep and relaxation to stay on top of things and ended up not feeling well; ; however, I learned so much from the experience and sensed God speaking to me in a very concrete way.
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful that summer vacation is finally here. I am committed to getting a full night's sleep, eating right, and tracking my foods. Now if I can just get back to the gym . . . .
I am excited about the "boot camp" assignments and accountability and look forward to next Wednesday's call. (I think I'll even be home!)
Thank you, Becky, for pushing us and encouraging us, too.
Have a wonderful holiday. "See" you next Wednesday!
God bless!
Wanda
I also am very excited about "boot camp" because of the same reasons Wanda just mentioned, over committment, unbalanced life, etc. I am ready to get on track and need to for my health and well-being. Thanks for this challenge.

ReplyDeletereally excited for the new quarter.
Mickey, I hope you are in this quarter, I have used "From now on"... 3x's to encourage someone else since Wednesday. Great words!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to boot camp. Every week I come away with a new encouragement to keep me moving in the direction that God has planned for me. Acts 20:24 "But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God" Becky used that scripture last week and it has stuck. This is just getting better and better. My daughter gets married at the end of the month so I am not doing too much thinking about changes in my own life. I do have to admit having Acts 20:24 in my heart has given everything perspective. Looking forward to boot camp Woo Hoo!
This is the first quarter that I am joining and I am really looking forward to getting started.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Rita you will be pleased.
ReplyDeleteI too am ready. I'm committed to doing the assignments and participating every week. Boot Camp here I come!
ReplyDeleteHi Rita, welcome to the group!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am ready!!! I have my journal and calendar, and excited about the challenges ahead and what God is going to do in and through this group.
ReplyDeleteOk Robbie, I was not here last quarter. What was mickey's 'from now on'?
ReplyDeleteI participated in the first quarter and made some small changes. Missed second quarter due to financial issues. Now I'm back. Honestly, I feel like a failure in so many aspects of my life. I spent so much time juggling God, marraige, family friends, work, school and everything else that I dropped ally balls.
Excuse my typos. I was a little overwhelmed. I know how to spell 'marriage' and it was 'dropped all my balls'.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the non-negotiable assignment of kneeling before God every day. It's only Day 2 and I am finding it to be a powerful thing to proclaim my dependence on Him. I am a person who likes to be in control and I am working on yielding that control to the One who needs to be. I open my heart and whole being to Him.
